Here you can read how to submit a request to have your account and associated data deleted.
1. How to submit a deletion request?
You can delete your Remind account via the online form:
Fill in the deletion form with:
the email address you registered with in Remind
Confirm that you want your account and all associated data deleted.
Submit your request.
Upon receipt of your request:
you will receive a confirmation by email
we typically complete the deletion within 30 days
we will notify you once the deletion is complete
2. What data is deleted?
When your account is deleted, we typically delete the following categories of personal data from our active systems:
Account information
Name
Email address
Year of birth and other profile information you provided in the app
App usage and brain health data
Results from your memory tests and other cognitive assessments
Results from your lifestyle questionnaires (e.g., exercise, sleep, nutrition)
Scores, trends, and indices we display in the app (such as “brain age”)
Communication data
Messages exchanged with our support team, insofar as they are linked to your account
Technical app data (linked to your account)
Device IDs or internal user IDs we use to link your data to your account
After completion of the deletion, you can only create a new account with the same email address as a new user; your old data will no longer be available.
3. What data do we (temporarily) retain longer – and why?
In some cases, we are required to retain certain data longer, even if you delete your account. We always do this limitedly and for a clear reason:
Financial administration
Information about payments, invoices, and subscriptions
Retention period: up to 7 years after the relevant fiscal year
Reason: legal administrative and tax obligations
Security and log files
Technical logs required to investigate misuse, fraud, and security incidents
Retention period: maximum 12–24 months
Afterwards, these data are deleted or anonymized
Anonymized or aggregated data
Some data is used for statistics and research in a fully anonymized form (no longer traceable to you as a person).
This data is no longer considered personal data and is therefore not deleted with your account.
We never retain more personal data than necessary, and never longer than required by law and regulations.
4. What happens if you only delete the app?
Simply deleting the app from your phone or tablet does not mean your account and data are automatically deleted.
Your data will remain available in our systems.

5. Processing time and confirmation
We process your request as quickly as possible, no later than 30 days.
If we need additional information to verify your identity (for example, to protect your privacy), we will contact you.
Once we have deleted your account, you will receive a confirmation by email.
