The fifteen lifestyle factors
Part of your brain health is fixed. You do not choose your age or your genes. Another part is within reach. Researchers at Maastricht University gathered the factors you can act on into a single score, the LIBRA. There are fifteen of them.
They pull on each other. Sleeping badly raises the odds of high blood pressure; moving more helps your weight and your mood at once. So the set is worth more attention than any one item in it, and there is no need to take on everything at the same time. Working on one of the fifteen usually shifts more than one.
